There has been an addition to the famous S.T. Dupont collections: in 2004 the company issued a limited edition of accessories, known as the James Bond Collection and dedicated to the most famous secret agent of all time. The S.T. Dupont designers modelled the creations in their ‘gentleman’s collection’ on some of the smart devices that Agent 007 traditionally has in his armoury. So whereas previously, after watching one of the cinematic sagas of his interminable escapades, men could only quietly envy the super-hero’s elegant gadgetry, now – thanks to Dupont – they have the chance of being like the secret agent in real life. The James Bond 007 collection includes six lighters – four pocket lighters of various sizes and two table lighters – all designed on the bullet motif. The flint ring on the table lighters can also be used for another purpose – to indicate the time zone. Also included in the collection are four platinum ball points of various sizes equipped with lasers together with propelling pencils and fountain pens – all with a device for determining the time zone. Then there are silver key rings, which double as pocket torches, and cufflinks and a money clip stylized to look like triggers. All these accessories are put together in a special James Bond 007 gift pack shaped like a pistol. If you’ve already got one, then you can say that you’ve already taken the first step towards carrying out a secret mission. |  |
