Aroma and taste in unlit state
Aroma: of average intensity. Tangs: spicy (exotic spices, black pepper), animal, earthy, woody.
Taste: strong, slightly bitter, noticeably hot. Tangs: spicy, earthy, herbal, flowery, the flavour of dry white wine.

Aroma and taste of the lit cigar
Aroma: strong, well-developed. Tangs: spicy, woodland, fruity (raisins, dry melon), honeyed, animal, chocolaty, burnt.
Taste: strong, pungent, with a slight mustard flavour. Tangs: woody, spicy, earthy, fruity, nutty.
Aftertaste: between average and prolonged.

Burning
Shape of burning section: flat at the beginning changing to a cone at the end.
Draw: optimum.
Ash colour: light grey.
Ash structure: crumbly in the first third, moderately dense afterwards.

Progression
First third: The first draws are slightly tasteless and the draw itself is laboured. But as soon as the fire reaches the broadest part, the draw becomes optimum and the aroma more complex (honeyed and fruity flavours can be sensed in addition to the dominant spicy and woodland tangs).
Second third: Its powerfully pungent (but at the same time fairly mild) taste is supplemented by a wide range of flavours – from the predominant spicy and woody tangs to the weaker earthy, mineral, fruity and nutty tones.
Final third: The cigar retains the power and complexity of its aromas, the range of which is increased by animal and chocolaty flavours.

Recommendations
Accompanying drink: as the cigar progresses, it can be accompanied by various drinks – from blended whiskies to vintage single malts.

General impressions
Smoking time: during moments of rest and relaxation after a full evening meal.
