Progression
First third: The aroma at this stage is complex, distinguished and chiefly comprised of spicy and animal tones. Despite its strength and pungency, the cigar burns mildly due to the minty tone which exerts a cooling effect on the mouth. Second third: The aroma contains sweetish fruity and chocolaty flavours, which make it even more complex. The balance of the cigar and the duration of its aftertaste are quite astounding. Final third: The taste and the aroma become even heavier, but this has no worsening effect on the cigar. Spicy, animal and earthy tones dominate the aroma.
Recommendations
Accompanying drink: a vintage rum or a single malt whisky, a cognac of XO standard or higher. Smoking time: after a heavy meal.
General impressions
A magnificent cigar with a rich, subtle aroma and a balanced taste that provides pleasure from beginning to end.
