A light brown cigar with a thin oily wrapper. The cigar makes an impression even when unlit, with a rich spectrum of flavours and fragrances. It clearly displays minty, anis, and coffee fragrances and a fruity/flower flavour with a hint of bitterness.
The first tokes reveal the splendour and generosity of its ‘lit’ aroma. The cigar quickly builds up to medium strength and maintains it to the end. One-third into the cigar, its powerful taste, with hints of spices and flowers and a touch of raspberry jam, takes on a bitter twang. Towards the end, the cigar even becomes softer, partly thanks to a well-developed minty flavour.
The habana gives pleasure and causes no problems. It may be recommended to all smokers, including beginners and women. It would welcome a companion such as single malt whisky, old rum or brandy. |
