A Havana with a thin oily wrapper, tightly rolled to perfect density. Unlit, it tastes distinctly salty and spicy. The taste is dominated by woody/grassy and spicy/coffee flavours. The aroma is rich with woody and green fragrances.
With the first puffs, the cigar shows its thoroughbred nature. Its strong tobacco taste, invoking lush plant and animal life, and solid aroma of earth and woods with a spicy touch, strike a major cord right from the start. With smoking in full swing, the taste develops a bitter trend, which emphasizes its refined nature. The draw is free of problems. The burning speed can be called perfect. The aftertaste is persistent and lingers on a long time.
It is a very strong cigar. It can only be recommended to seasoned smokers and after a heavy dinner. It will be well matched with dark rum or cognac XO. |
