COHIBA SELECCIÓN RESERVA
Robusto
Lenght - 47/8 in
Ring Gauge - 19,8
ø - 50 mm
Outwardly this cigar differs little from the Cohiba Robusto. It has the same colour – colorado – though with a slightly different shade, the same optimum rolling and a similar oily outer wrapper leaf... But its differences are revealed even in its unlit state: an intensive animal scent wafts its different shades before you (leather, manure, milk fresh from the cow). But apart from the animal component, the cigar has equally expressive fruit and floral elements. The next difference between this cigar and its better-known relative is immediately noticeable on lighting up. The first third already reveals the whole power of its animal aroma and its nutty, spicy and slightly acidic taste. It is clearly a ‘masculine’ cigar with all that that entails. Its gustatory and aromatic characteristics are expressed with exceptional clarity. In the second third, the animal range of the aroma increases, and the coffee, spice and even chocolate elements come into their own. The last third produces an exceptionally large amount of smoke. The uniqueness and individuality of this cigar lies in its combination of the classical animal suggestions that are characteristic of the strong cigar and an astonishing mildness. The cigar is well-balanced, acting evenly on the taste reception zones, and leaving a long and stable aftertaste.
